Cameras:
CCTV Cameras are specified to suit each application. The location
of a CCTV camera dictates the type used.
The
main types of CCTV camera are either an external camera with vandal
resistant housing or internal CCTV camera with a dome or standard
brackets. Covert CCTV cameras can be specified for more specialist
applications.
CCTV
Monitors:
There are 2 types of CCTV monitors: colour or monochrom. Desk mounted
monitors can be fitted suspended from the ceiling by various ceiling
mounted brackets.
CCTV
images taken from the system are typically recorded on either videotape
or digital format.
Long
Play VCR recorders can be connected to the system to record events
from a period of 3 hours to 960 hours.
Digital
recording can fully record all events up to one month and can be
saved onto a CD-ROM.
Multiplexers
are designed to record images from 4 to 16 cameras around the premises.
